Paula Maxine Patton is an American actress who was born on December 5, 1975 in Los Angeles, California. She is simply one of the beautifulest actresses in Hollywood today, though, she is still fairly new to many people.
Most people know her as songwriter and R+B singer Robin Thicke’s wife, especially since she appeared as the leading woman in a few of his videos. Though, she’s making a name for herself and she’s showing she can definitely be more than just a beautiful woman by a singer’s side.
Early Career
Patton graduated from the Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and later went to school at UC Berkley but soon after her first year, she decided to transfer to USC Film School in which she graduated magna cum laude. Shortly after she graduated, she jumped straight into the entertainment business when she won a 3-month assignment making documentaries for PBS.
After that, she became a production assistant for TV documentaries and also for Howie Mandel’s talk show.
She eventually worked with the Discovery Channel as producer for the show Medical Diaries.
Bigger Roles
She worked behind scenes for quite sometime until she finally appeared on the big screen in 2005. Her first acting role was a small one but it was in a very popular romantic comedy, Hitch, where she got to act alongside Will Smith and Eva Mendes.
From her first acting role, she managed to get role and role. She followed with another small part in the movie drama London, and she also acted alongside OutKast members Andre Benjamin and Big Boi in the movie, Idlewild.
Her biggest role so far has to be when Patton was the leading lady in the 2006 film Deja Vu. Of course, she was the leading lady next to the one and only Denzel Washington. And when you get a chance to take on a role like that, you’re definitely making a name for yourself.
She also starred in such movie’s like Swing Vote (2008) alongside Kevin Costner and Mirrors (2008) with Kiefer Sutherland.
Although, Paula hasn’t been in too many acting roles, that doesn’t explain how much she has accomplished so far. She also has modeled for various magazines as well as posing nude on her husband, Robin Thicke’s album cover entitled A Beautiful World.
Personal Life
Paula Patton, as we all know, is the wife of R+B singer Robin Thicke. The two got married back on June 11, 2005 in Santa Barbara, California.
These two have been together before they were even famous. They originally met at some teen club in Los Angeles and also dated back when they were in high school together. They first met when she was 15 and he was 14.
Yes, they have been together from the best of times and the worst of times.
Paula Patton is the daughter-in-law to Alan Thicke and Gloria Loring and sister-in-law to Brennan Thicke.
She is 5′ 4″ tall in height.
